Playing With Cars on the Slide

When Parker was a little boy and we used to go to the park all the time, he always loved to have hot wheels to send down the slide and play with.  That fun has continued with all the kids, which I love.

Pshew Pshew

We start building legos together and that turns into him pointing the legos at me and saying pshew pshew.  Such a boy.

A Face Full of Whipped Cream

Parker got his wolf at Scouts tonight, and as a right of passage onto Bears he had to find his wolf patch in a pie tin full of whipped cream.  He was excited to do it all day.

Ice Fishing

This is not something I ever thought I would find myself doing, but it was actually a lot of fun.

Concentrating

This kid has always loved understanding how things work, and he loves putting things together.  He got this erector set for Christmas, and he's spent many hours building things with it.  Oh, and he's a huge 49er fan.

Half of an Eye

This one often needs some coaxing to let me put a camera in front of his face.  And, at this moment, one eye was all he was willing to give me.

Boys and their R/C Cars

I'm Not So Sure About This

I wanted a project that would push me, but I'll admit that this might be a bit too ambitious.  Here's the deal...a photo a day for the whole year.  The photo needs to be taken with my real camera (unless, I don't have it with me all day), and the goal is to get a shot that I had to work for, one that is creative and interesting.  I'm planning to edit them all before posting them.  Posting them on the actual day I took them is not realistic, but I'm going to work to get them up within the week.  I'm doing this because I have been relying too much on my phone, and I'm not getting my real camera out enough.  I also haven't been editing anything really.  I will say that after only 2 days, I'm feeling good about this project.  In addition to pushing myself, it's giving me a reason to stop and enjoy my kids and the moment we are in every day.  So, here goes nothing.
